Locum Consultant - Histopathologist

Fresh Medical has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Consultant Histopathologist to cover a 6-month contract, from Mid April 2023. You will be working alongside a supportive team of clinical staff with a reputable Haematology client based Close to Edinburgh.
Brief Job Description
**General Pathology department. Full FRCPath required. They would be expected to deal with the range of cases encountered in a typical general department including small GI biopsies, skin biopsies/excisions, gynaecological and urological samples. Willingness to trim surgical specimens preferred. No requirement to do autopsies or non-gynae cytology, if that is what is preferred
You will be required to work Monday to Friday on a consistent 9am - 5pm rota, which includes a 24/7 on call rota of 1:5

To be successful in this role: • You must hold GMC registration, Candidates on the specialist register are preferred. You will have expert knowledge within your field and a willingness to work across various Pathology services.
